Breede River

Hi guys i am going to breede River Lodge at the end of May.

i wont have much time for fishing but still want to try my luck.

Any idea what i can target on lure at the time of year? I understand I can fish in front of the lodge and that Night fishing is a no no.

You still fish on surf side , Stinkmossel got some good catches there last week

Top water plugs and lures for leeries on pushing tide from low. Walk up along the river bank from the lodge towards the mouth and back. Dropshot paddletail might pick up a kob or if you can get hold of some livies you can have fun. All depends on if we get lots of rain before the end of May and there is lots of fresh water in the system and of course water temp............

Thanks Charlies -B Sounds pretty much what i was hoping and planning for .

Never been to the Breede before so really looking forward to it.

Just hope the Mrs gives me some time to wet a line.. its her 30th wedding anniversary....shes celebrating being able to put up with me for so long ..:blah:blah:fishn:fishn:fishn
