Boskop Dam

Hi All, I've been having thoughts of going to Naturama coming Easter.  I intend in staying in over in one of their tent houses.

Anybody been there over a long weekend, or does it become like all Vaal Triangle resorts over long weekends?

What's the tent houses like?

Is it a safe place and what's t do(web page does not say a lot)?

Will I be able to launch my boat with a 2x4 sedan, is the slipway nice?

What is the bass been like lately?

Ok, now i just need to get this straight??Are you talking about a resort at vaal dam??Or Boskop dam??Cause if im correct, boskop is not in the vaal triangle??Sorry just asking...hehehe

Boskop Dam has produced very good fish this past spawn etc.

But we had a professor from the Vaal Pukke at our club meeting about all the problems we had on the vaal river, anyways we started talking about Potch Dam and Boskop Dam and he said the water is really bad there, with some spillages that a couple of mines had in the river that runs into boskop and potch, there is uranium in these dams now and uranium is radio active and well dont think its to healthy, yes i have been in both these dams with my float tube and nothing happend to me...but just becareful
