Morning chaps,

I have heard rumours that it isn’t safe to overnight here anymore, is this true? People getting robbed etc

We used to go there on a Friday and camp till Sunday. Want to find out before risking it.

Also, is it worth it to take a kayak with?

I would recommend taking a watercraft along as distance is key at the venue. As to the safety, can't really comment, havent camped there before, but there is a sign at the gate warning people to take care due to the crime.
