Noting much to report on bonus day 309 rather then a fun day at the beach.I joined up with Strepie at about 11:00 this morning at our designated spot. The two of us ventured to a nice "hole" where we started teasing some juvenile fish with all sorts of baits. From cray-tail to vrottes. We were soon join by youngster ,Helmut Van Dalen. It wasn't long when Helmut went vas with a beautiful 33cm Gallie. The weather were playing cat and mouse with some cloud cover light rain and humid sunshine break-troughs.The water had a nice roll and the conditions for catching Gallie were exactly what text books will prescribe. The fish were also playing around like the weather, from dead quiet and then a series of fierce feeding frenzies.
In the meantime the hard working Score-master went vas with a Sucker-fish.He decided that he had enough excitement for the day and began saying his goodbyes.Melmut also started to pack up ,when i went vas with a 23cm Gallie that was also safely released. My Gallie were caught on Fabba's secret bait while Helmut landed his on fresh w/mussel.
Once again i had a fantastic time and thanks Strepie and Helmut for the company..
