Bonacord Catfish??

Hey all ive just gotten myself a float tube, and am really keen on going to Boni's

Ive heard alot of guys claiming to be hammering the Barbel 20- 30meters out on sliders, Pumkinseed's etc.

Has enyone experianced this?

Where do you go? Onderstepoort side or boat club side?

Best time of the dat ect?

The water is still too brown maybe towards the end of April it will start looking good again.
You need to fish the inflow (Where the Apies river flows into the dam) look for turning barbel and that is the spot to fish. the reason for the float tube is that it is very shallow there but the mud/silt is over 6ft deep so you would sink further than your armpits.
I work less than 2km from this site and often go and have a look at the goings on there....
