The first person in my team will be Fourie du Preez. As 2nd half impact players Danie Rossouw (lock) , Willem Alberts & Ashley Johnson. They get over the advantage line and will give tired teams a hard time.

Nice team Mangi, I 'm not so sure about Coenie Oosthuizen maybe he's not tough enough yet and he tends to give away a few penalties though. What about Juan Smith?

Will Juan be fit for the Tri Nations?

Coenie, I like him, he has been unlucky with some penalties but is definately a name for the future. Bring him into the squad and start building on him now! In a couple of years he will be the next OS. Or so I hope.

I understand he will be fit for the Tri- nations. We actually have some seriously good players to choose from this time round, I just dont want to see long in the tooth players been chosen on previous years performances. The youngsters coming through are exciting and full of energy. This Sadie guy from WP looks an awsome prospect.

Yesterday's game proved a lot of things. Matfield is stil better than Bekker at lineout time. Also I'm not convinced about bekker at scrumtime. Having stood next to the man, he's tall, but not what I would call a scrum stalwart!

Butch James is still a hothead. But he has singlehandedly changed the lions attack.

The scrum in the WP 22 where they demolished the WP, proved what a good strong lock pair can do at scrumtime. My only doubt is if Matfield can be bok captain. I won't consider schalk coz he loses his cool. If Juan Smith is available he might get my nod for captain but let's say he isn't.

John smith cannot play prop the boks have tried it, the sharks have tried it, it DOESN'T work!

So here is my team

1. Jannie Du Plessis
2. Bismark Du Plessis
3. Beast Matawarira
4. Victor Matfield
5. Bakkies Botha
6. Francois Louw
7. Juan Smith
8. Willem Alberts

9. Fourie du Preez
10. Morne Steyn
11. Luwazi Mvovu
12. Jean de Villiers
13. Jacques Fourie
14. Gio Aplon
15. Francois Steyn

16. Schalk Britz
17. Guthro Steenkamp (if fit)
18. Danie Roussouw
19. Brock Harris
20. Butch James
21. Francois Hougaardt
22. Juan de Jongh

You right Marthin, Butch has made a huge difference to the Lions team, you can see his experience and in NZ conditions his time in the UK will be a big asset. Juan de Jong was inspiring when he came on, he picked up the pace and his darting runs had the Bulls in sixes and sevens. John Smit and Habana are under severe pressure and you can see it in their faces and in their game. Bismarck is such a brilliant player but he must stop his off the ball nonsense and focus on the game, he is being treated unfairly with Smit being Bok captain and it seems as if he wants to prove a point of physicality when he comes on to play. I think the most difficult area of player choice will be the loose forwards, we have a host of good players. I am still working on who my team will be but tough games like the past weekends games give me food for thought.

Can someone please tell me why Rassie Erasmus is so highly rated?

at that stage only a miracle could stop the bulls domination of the currie cup, so SARUGBY and WP thought Rassie must be the solution....

Marthin, we are going to have to intervene on this matter.

If I have anything to do with it, Janurie will not even watch the W.Cup on TV.
