Boats on long weekends

Hi guys

I would like to get some opinions from other fisherman's regarding long weekends and the amount of boats on the water.

I really do think that boats have impact on fishing i have had few sessions if there 1 to 5 boats on the water i have no problem, however when there is 10 15+ boats with music and water sports this seem to have huge impact on fishing.

Seems like the fish bites just stop.

What do you guys think i am going crazy or do you have similar problems when there is allot of boats on the water.

Boats definitely have an effect on fish and fishing. I was at Tzaneen last year September and the SA bass trials were being held the same week. The fishing was good up until those idiots arrived and then the day when they took a break we got a fish again.

I had a weeks holiday spoilt by guys on boats at Eden Valley along the berg river during the school holidays. Don't get me wrong ,having boats there is not the problem because we all paid to be there ,but when these idiots have a whole river to  be on , but they must mess around in front of you for some reason. Needles to say I wont be going to any sort of resort where boats can also go again.

I have a friend at buffels wbo was getti g fish up until the boats came and he has not yet had bite since. Will let everyone know what the outcome is today with no boats.
