Hi Guys

I have recently bought a 5.2 infanta semi rigid with 1 x 90 Yamaha  on the back.

I am currently thinking of selling the engine and rather putting 2 x 40 Yamahas on the back

My question is i want to use the boat for skiing too, do you think 2 x 40 yammies will be up for a bit of skiing

Dan,

We used to have a 5,2 duck with 90 yammie on the back that my brother and I used for skiing all the time.
Power for skiing (2 ski's) was ok but slalom was something of an art.
I think if you intend to slalom, power might be a problem but for normal skiing you should be alright.

If you intend slalom skiing I'd suggest a :sc:::

Hahahahaa

2 x40's as long as they are 3 cylinder will have no problem to pull skii's even slalom but with only 2 up on he boat .

I've got a 5,1m Stingray Cat with 2 x 40hp Mercuries , and I pull 2 x big guys on a double tube dat hulle sit en pis ! My duck is heavy ,close to if not over a ton and those motors go.
