BOAT TOWING AND THE LAW

It seems that me and my friend are illegal on the road. I looked on the net but all info are confusing. Does anybody have the latest do's and dont's with regards to towing and towing vehicles.

We tow a 530 Baycraft Supreme Sport boat with Colt 3L v6

take your cars gvm padjero +- 6000kg then subtract your cars tare weight eg 3000kg leaves you with 3000kg which you can tow overide breaks. your trailer cant weigh more than your tow vechile.
