Blue Kurper

Hi Guys

This is a pic of a Blue Kurper I caught in a small dam near Brits. I was targeting bass, but this gave me a fight that was, weight for weight, better than any bass I have caught. This is my PB kurper by a long shot. I estimate the weight at around 1.5 to 2kg. Loads of fun !!

Hi Poker Player, it happened to me as well.  Was fishing for bass in Pongola with a super fluke and this kurper took the fluke.  I thought I had the South African record bass on the other end of the line.  It gave me a SERIOUS fight!!  Well this is the Blue that came out on a Fluke.

There's only one place close to Brits that has green grass like that, and where you have a 50/50 chance to get Bass and/or blue kurper like the one in the top photo, and that is Klein Paradys!
