Blue Cart Maps for Garmin Echo range

Good day all

I have the Garmin Echomap 52dv unit on my boat, is it worth upgrading the standard mapset with the Garmin Bluecart mapset?

Anybody have any experiance with these maps?

Hi. Absolutely, the standard basemap is so bad that i dont know why they sell the unit without (compelling) one to buy the maps. That said much more information is available from navigational aids to fishing contours.

An older mapset will work as well as there is very (marginal) changes between years.

Ugrading to the g2 Vision mapset even unlocks more functionality such as mariner views (no change in maps and contours though)

Go for it you wont be sorry opens up new world of possibilities I have two of them Lowrance and Garmin.
