Bloemhoff Dam Fish Species

I have never been to Bloemhoff dam but I have been to the resort below the dam wall. Caught Modderbek, Barbel and Carp. Was wondering if you get any of the Kurper species in the dam. What species are there in the dam. I live in kimberley and want to tackle Kurper on ultra light tackle but dont know where to go for them. I used to catch them in Barkly West about 20 years ago when I was a kid but they dont seem to be there any more from what I have heard.

The only kurper species you will catch in Bloemhofdam and below are vlei kurper and dwarf kurpers. Ultra light tackle will work. No 14 hooks or smaller for vlei kurper, and No 24 for dwarf kurper.
