Bloemfontein - Carolina

Hi Guys,

We want to travel from Bloemfontein to Carolina on Friday, but do not want to take the highways. Do not have enough time to take the gravel backroads unfortunately.

Was thinking of the following route, courtesy of Google Maps:
Bloem, Winburg, Senekal, Bethlehem, Warden, Vrede, Standerton, Bethal, Hendrina, Carolina. Or from Standerton via Ermelo and Breyton to Carolina.

Any suggestions, road works info, advice etc. will be highly appreciated.

Bloem N1 -Sasolburg-R59-Take the Witbank off Ramp-At Germiston get on the new N17 all the way to Ermelo.
