Bimini Twist vs Leader

Hi all,

I need some help with knots...if I understand it, the bimini twist is a other form of leader.... then I use something like a Palomar knot to tie the lure on?

Is the bimini twist that much better than a normal leader tied in with a uni knot?

Or do I have it all wrong:doh

alloffroad, check our knots section uner the FAQ and articles. As I understand it the bimini and catspaw retain 100% of line strength.

Hi
Bemini twist is not the leader by itself, just a very strong way to attach your leader to your main line

Hi Ghost

But what I do not understand is the knot between the bimini twist and the leader will still be weak...so why the bimini?

Thanks

All... welcome to Sealine...

Read this, (especially the last half) then you will have a better understanding of what a Bimini is used for...
