Sienna 2500 FE
How much line fits on that 2500 FE? Really want to buy myself the 2500 FE spooled with some 8-10lbs braid for some light spinning in Estuaries.
I am not sure to tell the truth. I spooledbit with some thick braid i had kicking about. Just filled it. Using the reel for popping for cats at the moment in the river. Handled that fat cat without issues.
I have to point out that I did not buy the reel for this application...I used it as I had it at hand.

Can anyone confirm if the Sienna 4000 FE actually punches out 8.5kg of DRAG ???

I see the specs differ from website to website with regards to the maximum drag ...

I have no idea how much the drag is, but I would probably say it's around the 7kg mark. But it's more than enough for general edible fishing.

Anyone spooled a Sienna 2500 with 8lbs J-Braid before? How much line did you manage to fit? Daiwa J-Braid is 0.13mm by the way.

So I ended up buying 2 x Sienna 4000 FE reels. Matched with 7 ft rods with the sole purpose of using them from an inflatable in estuaries.

The reels feels great taking the price point into consideration . Smooth spin and drag. Will see how it holds up over time .
