Hi guys. There's this spot I used to fish a few years ago when I was bored and couldn't go out to the dams,It's called Camp's Drift and lies on the Duzi river.
Most Maritzburg folks would NEVER even THINK about fishing there because the water quality is so bad it can give you E-coli induced diarrhea , or better known here as "Duzi Guts", but as the passionate young angler I was (still am but just a bit older and married lol) who'd do anything to wet a line, this didn't bother me and because this spot wasnt far from my house, I decided to throw a line there when I couldn't go to Albert Falls.
To my surprise I actually caught some beautiful fish regularly and heard some stories from canoeist seeing Carp almost half the length of their canoe!
Any way heres a few pics. unfortunately I didnt manage to take pics of all my catches.
