hi to all

i am currently fishing with 12 ft bazooka deluxe and love them but cannot seem to get the distance i`ve heard they are reaching with these rods. can somebody please assist me.

my longest cast with a p4 was measured with a linemate at 173 m but throing it consistantly i only hit  around 145 m

ek hengek met 0.18 awai shima hypercast lyn met 18 lb xx leader en 8000 shimano gte katrolle . ek glo dis `n goie kompinasie. watse afstand is behaalbaar met die bazooka stokke

Ek dink 145m is 'n baie goeie afstand veral as jy daar kan bly hengel.
Jou setup is reg maar as jy af gaan na 0.16 gaan jy 20m+ kry. Ek persoonlik hou nie van so dun hengel nie.
Jy moet ook onthou dat as hulle stokke toets, die toets gedoen word sonder bol of aas. En dan gebruik hulle ook nog grooter sinkers.
'n vriend van my hengel tot en met P6 met sy Purglas stokke, vir my is dit te swaar.

n skoon p4 kry ek oor 170 maar met aas sit ek op so 145m. met  m 0 hengel ek op so 115 m het al `n m0 net met bom gelaai en tot by 128m gekry maar dis nie konstant nie

The distances you are getting if measured accurately are what you should expect and what you need to fish competitively with top league anglers


120m with an M1 is a good measure

145m angling distance with feed and bol is further than 85% of anglers in your zone.

If you want 5-10% improvement you have to up the quality of material your rods are made of and that costs almost double the price of your current rods.

Sensation DC or the new Oval DC (Available end of the month) will make a difference.

how accurate is measuring with a linemate. I do not have a place to measure on land and i am not confident in an linemate

If done accurately then 95-100%. Let sinker fall, reel in slack and make sure you start to actually pull the sinker then put the linemate on

Best is to use the linemate to put bottles out in the water and then cast to the bottles.

110m with a bol I'd say 80% of anglers don't get to the bottle.

thanx. never though about that. will place a few markers with the inflatable and GPS at 100,120m and so on and see if i can hit the target
