bass fishing westrand

has anyone been bass fishing the westrand area lately?

I want to do some fishing this weekend.

Uhm Thanks for the offer but I think both Johan and myself have a very busy schedule with the up and comming Bass Africa classic - lots of weekends spent practicing.

I BELIEVE THERE IS SUPPOSE TO BE BASS AT THE SMALL DAM ACROSS MONUMENT SPAR,CORINATION DAM AND BY THE DAM AT THE RUIMSIG ATHLETICS STATUM,HAS ANYONE FISHED THESE DAMS WITH LUCK ,OR AIM I BEEN MISLEAD?

Ya my schedule is a bit packet with the classic coming up and then also next month’s and this month’s Cast 4 cash. But I am sure we can fit it in after that. We still need to hit bass lake

Do any of you own a famous inflatable, I want to find out how long can one use the battery opperated trolling motor. Just bought mine and desparately want to try it over the weekend. Cheers Dennis

What he meant to say is the battery as 50AH or a 105 AH.

Remember the faster you go the more battery power you will use. There is normally a power use graph ontop of the motor especially if it is a Minn Kota

where are you going to test it,i too have bought something simular ,but still need to fork out for that special battery

contact the guys at Zambezi angling in Pta, they've got a dealer somewhere in the line that gives them deep cycles at really great prices, I've got the 30lb minn kota rigged to a 75mA (I think) batt and I cruise the entire day with the motor running on it's highest most of the time.... and daducky's loaded (overloaded some will say).
