This morning i tried to go fishing at 5,but the wind was howling......and the whole day it went on non stop,i decided to go at 14h00 with a friend that lives close by the dam we where planning on to fish,at 15h00 the wind started to die off and conditions improved rapidly.
At first i did'nt expect alot of action cause off the cold water and windy conditions,but how wrong could i be........the first fish took my Salmo hornet like a bullet,i was fishing a piont and N.J van der Merwe,the guy that fished with me also got a nice one on the same spot with a senko,and then he started bagging one fish after each other and i changed the crank for a plastick so i got some of those mammas too.....in my previous trips to this dam we always got 50 fish in a day but all of them small,but today it was a total different story,we didnt get one fish under a kilo,all of them stuffed and in very good shape.
This summer is going to be a good one....
