barometric pressure

I know some of the guys fish/use barometric readings in their fishing outings, so I had a quick look at the pattern in cape town and surrounds..
Cape town 1001
Mitchells Plain 1007
Strand 1012

So, in a radius of 50km there's a drop of 12 hpa, lowest being cape town, seeing that the "cold front" moves in from Town side. Interesting don't you think?

Weather SA, I recon I should be reliable enough, seeing they get the readings off a barometer...
