Hey guys. Going to Banga late March. A buddy of mine says its a bit late for GT's then. We are predominantly going to dropshot. Is it worth it??  I mean a train still needs food...

I was at Banga last year in mid March and we had serious action from the big GTs.  They were smashing the bait (2-3kg greenspot kingies) all around us right onto the beach on the pushing tide.  Blood everywhere. Didn't have any interest on fly / lures - didn't have anything big enough to cast at them!:fst:

Was there a couple of weeks ago - was tough - very few fish.  Can change overnight though - banga is great on the final hour of the pushing tide and for about an hour after in the bay.  Low tide on the rocks can be productive too.
