Bakoven fishing

Heard about some fishing spots around Bakoven area ,anybody fished there and where about?

U can catch hotties and even Gallie there in the winter , throughout hotties though , best bait is sardine and for the gallies white mussel. Check with Baldrick , he still owes me a trip

Is this area not a reserve, always wanted to fish there but was lead to believe it is part of the reserve???

Bakoven is not a reserve. The reserve ends just before the white hotel as you are going to Hout Bay.

The best kept secret for hotties is Bantry Bay after Sea Point. Lots of rocks giving a good vantage to gaps in the kelp.
