Baitboat

Hi guys

 

After my dad's been in a accident he has metal in his right shoulder and two fingers doesn't work propperly. The fracture in his ankle also doesn't help alot if we are planning a fishing trip.

 

Now the MONSTER CASTS are finished for always but.....We decided to buy a baitboat. There are many on the market. We quite like the Luanro, after reading a article in Tight Lines. Then Carp King has been on the market for ages and the Navigator is to tight on cash for us and doesn't know DM craft boats at all. 

 

Any ideas guys  ? Luckly we are still saving

Hi Friend. I have also been thru the difficult decision days, regarding which Bait boat to buy. I now own my 3rd one. At Last I am 100% satisfied. I have owned one of the boats that you have mentioned and one or two issues with it. One word of advice would strongly be, is not to only kook at fancy designs and pretty boats. They all are in each unique way. Look for a boat that has power, does what you need it to do, and be very reliable. As well as a well balanced price. I now own a DM Craft. Say no more. I have it modified very cheaply (R80-00) so that I don't pik up interferrence signals. I have also coupled a big battery to my hand transmitter. Seems that the battery in the boat and T/Mitter lasts forever. I take two lines out at a time and together with my bombs, I fill the buckets with loose particles. Quite a weight. Eh man! THat boat runs as if it were empty.

Please remember that the above is my personal advice. I do not have enough knowledge to compare all the boats on the market. But at the end of the day, you got to buy the best that your pocket can afford!

When i started out looking for a bait boat i did a lot of research!

Every time i went fishing i would spot another make that i have not seen and go and investigate by asking the owner a few questions along with viewing the boats performance and so on...

Based on all that i decided to go for the DM Craft:

It is one of the bigest boats with a length of 1,2m so on a windy day you can send it without worries to filp it

it can take +- 2 kg's of feed in the buckets

You can now pick them up for about R3200 from some shops

Hi Brak,

I have a supercat 500 and i must say I couldnt have been happier, you can see the guy who makes them puts in a lot of effort into building them,very neat. Its fast, bait buckets are pretty big,can prob get around a kilo of bait into each bucket and the led lights are great, i was taking lines out 300m + on the weekend in the middle of the night and had no problems at all.

There is only 1 baitboat to buy that is a Carp King...that what I will do...they the best..

Ek het ook Luanro wat ek nou al vir meer as n jaar gebruik. Nog nie enige ernstige probleme gehad nie. Hy doen sy job.

Kan jy vir ons meer inligting verskaf oor die Solar Panels. Ek het by my laaste hengel sessie gesien my buurman gebruik so son paneel. Hoe effektief is so paneel etc.
