Baitboat: part 2

Ok so I had a look at the DM Craft baitboat ..... price reasonable I think. I believe the DM Craft bait boat is fast compared to Carp King & others.

Does anyone know about this ? Let's hear from the DM Craft owner/s if any .. give me your opinions on the electronics especially the radio receiver / battery life over a weekend's fishing / speed and control .... etc !!!

I'm in no hurry to buy one so for now I'm doing my homework !!!

No hijacking intended, but have a look at the following boat. I think when one compares bait boats you should compare apples with apples, i.e. boats with the same capabilities. This one has something special, which would've made me consider it seriously if I was in the market.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Carel before and i have seen this baitboat in action it is really an awesome product and in a class of its own....

Have a look at the boat mentioned by Snytjie, much lighter than any other boat, works with lithium batterys lasts longer and made of the same material airplanes are made of the motor is also different to anything else on the market.

All in all awesome quality and a great  product.

I had a look at it - very nice concept - however I can install a bait spreader and big drop out buckets if I like ...

The only thing with these boat manufactureres is that they sell a very cheap looking chinese radio receiver and charge the earth for the entire thing ... to save and cut costs transferring it onto the angler...

On a budget the DM Craft at the moment seems to be my best bet ... U see I don't really want to drop every line on every session - I prefer casting..I want to use it when I have to and to drop serious barbel baits where a cast cannot reach-'cos generally barbel baits are heavier !!

dm craft is a gr8 boat and the best in its price range. thats just my 2c.

renrew also makes boats and he has designed one that can go over weeds and water grass.

I'll decide later on which bait boat to get - I'll also have a radio / receiver made to specification.

That's a hobby for another weekend !!!
