Bait preservation

Hi All
How does one preserve mud/sand prawns for more than a week? Some one told me to use borasic powder but I am not so sure.

hey bunks

ive never heard of it being done befor i have managed to keep them alive for 2 days but thats it all i did was keep them in wraped up in a damp towel.
