if he is, then he needs to get a measuring tape and calculate the size of the fish compared to the fixed size of the cigarette packet before making assumptions.

Do hey still allow fishing in the Harbour? i thought that had been stopped, but hey I'm not in Durban anymore and have lost touch with fishing there...might like to try it when I am down next...

Care to share the spot?

Hi previn!I'm revering 2 the top foto of the grunter!the biggest 1 might just just be 400 but the other 2 defenetly not!remeber that u measure them from fork to the mouth,and not along the curve of the body!actually 4 and 1/2 packs of sigarettes are 38cm!

hey avil, fishing is still allowed in certain spots, bat centre and roundbush being two of them.

range   , when u hook onto a 5kg  that when its alot of fun  wait for da big one

catching  a  fish is great , releasing it is something special

For purposes of weight conversion they are measured from the fork to the tip of the nose for purposes of conservation and legal size limits it is total length that is measured

Awesome catches Previn, did you get the Kingy in the bay too?? I fish at BAT center quite often, went yesterday but the navy was having a party at the base, and there was ZERO parking!! Where is roundbush, you can PM if you like, I've just never heard of it, lol!!
