Chop !

I found an interesting way to use these.

Instead of putting the top through your line, you can bait up as normal, and slip the top loop through a circle hook !!!

That way, you have the bait hanging from the circle. Gonna try it soon and let you know !

And hang your baited hook from the sinker clip or hook baitcaster to sinker clip??

I was waiting for that... What Harold showed us made absolute sense compaired to what Homie is saying.

The baitcarrier stremlines and balances your whole rigged bait therefore not creating the helicopter action when castingand thats just 1 part of using a baitcarrier. Now if what you saying Homie by attaching your baitcarrier to your hook .. it would just defeat the purpose of the baitcarrier .

Please correct me if i am wrong here .

LOL, You guys are not reading.....
I said, the BAIT hangs from the Circle hook, NOT the sinker !
A circle hook is designed with the bait hanging from it, not tied around it !

Have a look !

Hey read my post i asked the question

"And hang your baited hook from the sinker clip or hook baitcaster to sinker clip??"

Sorry Homie should have waited for your response aswell..

Okay so you got your bait hanging from your circle, bait sitting below your hook , would it not almost zero your hookup rate compared to your hook halfway in your bait ?

Remember, you still have to add bait onto the bait carrier, so it will build up to the hook.
Hope it makes sense bru ?

This product is going to help us catch more fish, more often, and coupled with a Circle Hook, will have us releasing less damaged fish as well.

I have been wanting to start using circles for a while, but always found that my bait closed the circle, hence no hook up, this is what i was looking for !!!

BIG UP HAROLD !!!!

My staffies also run in circles, chasing their tales, never seem to realise it is a fruitless excercise.:doh

Must say that this is genuinely a step up from a piece of foam.
It also opens the possibility to pre-prepare your bates and just add a hook at the water.

Okay, maybe I'm being a total idiot (Wont be a 1st), but let me explain.

I have tried circles, and it was a disaster !

Its designed as i said for a bait to hang from it, and EVERY time i tried this, with the hook in the center of the bait, the bait was terribly shaped.
When I made the bait up 1st, and then insert the circle, the gape is always almost closed.

My thinking,

In the pic above, the bait will be 6-8cm long, with a 4/o circle, not a huge bait, Perfect size for a nice Kob etc.

This will be used to target fish that "Swallow" the bait.

I hope i get a chance to try this soon, and will let you know !
