Believe it or not they were taken with my little Samsung D900i cellphone. The only reason why the Kob pic was distorted is because it was cold that night and the lens was misted.

Mile 8

Been privileged enough to have been to Swakopmund, Mile 21 camp site, Long Beach, Seagull's Cry campsite in Swakopmund and Henties Bay in 2006. The most rewarding fishing experience I have ever had.

 

Great pic Ignatius! The surf looks like it has a very gradual slope as opposed to Swakopmund!

Sand bank, also called old mile 8. +- 1km south of toilet.
During low tide it is possible to wade and then cast for bronzies. During summer the sandsharks feed on the bank.
