Die 3-stuk Carp Finesse stokke en die GTE-C 6000's.
Wat ek seker die meeste van die Shim's hou is hoe presies die drag is. Een click en hy stywer, een click en hy's meer los. Ongelooflike katrolle.
Daai 3-stuk Awa-Shima stokke van my hengel darem lekker hoor. Ek is baie tevrede met hulle.

The new reels are each in their own class and application:
Black Bull - entry level reel with less bearing and ample durability to last for it's 1 year warranty period
Endurance - Black Bull on steroids with more bearings, improved drag system and aluminium spool
Both these are great for Bank angling.
The Karpista is a cross over between bank Angling and Specimen angling. Stron robust reel with great drag and a big plus is the larger cranking handle. Ideal for larger fish and retrieving larger weights. Would be my personal choice for bank Angling with the odd specimen outing
Antega, not quite a big pit reel but with a powerful drag system (7kg) Used for heavier tackle and a great barbel reel. Competition carp fishing can be hard on my Shimano's and the stress we put the Shimmies through led to Marius and I breaking 11 Shimano 10,000's in 2 tournaments (oscillating pawl - causes the spool to go up and down) Marius and I then switched to the Antega and with 6 reels have landed over 7000kg of Carp and around 1200kg of Catfish. Robust mechanism that takes the punch of hard and heavy fishing.
If you have the budget then I will recommend the Shimano XTEA 10,000, I have 4 and 4 x GTE-B 10,000's and 14 Spare spools but be warned, they are better and carry a price tag to match R1850 per reel and R380 per spool
So if budget is an issue you can buy 4 x Endurance's for the price of 4 Shimano spools, get 8 spools, 2 reels and 2 reels to replace those in 3 years.
If you pay for a Corolla you can't expect the performance of a BMW M3.
