Hi Guys.

Which Awa-Shima line for R&S ("Product Name", color, etc.)? Want to give it a go...

Also, where can you get this line in Somerset-West area?

not sure about summerset-west, but i know suburban and tuckers both had the Ion powerbay sensor lines, bit of a drive from somerset-west tho.

Don't buy too much at first if it is monofilament, because it looks brilliant for the price. Physically test the line for the breaking strain claimed against the same breaking strain of another line, eg Atlas XX, also test the amount of stretch in the line.
If you want to fish freshwater it might work, but for me on rock and surf it was a waste, spooled all my reels before a Namibia trip, to find out after two days why my hook up ratio was far below average. The line had too much stretch to feel small bites. Went to Henties to buy new line and re-spool all my reels. Hook-up ratio was back to normal and a lot of line in the dustbin, included brand new unopened 1200m spools,
