It's a casting line and you won't be casting over 220m so 300m as a topshot over a nylon backing is all you need.
When the line has taken wear reverse it so the line under is now on top and when totally worn then remove the 300m and replace with new topshot
If you are long lining like with baitboat or canoe then rather look at Brownie Carp which comes in 1200m lengths

Well I am very glad to see people getting hooked on awa-shima I strictly use awa-shima line for sea fishing my kite line is 950m .45mm 36.00kg test Line on a Sealine 450H The line is awa-shima big game. My cast line for rock and surf is awa-shima Bay sensor 0.35mm At 15kg test. AWA-SHIMA is the next best thing and I will not go in on there braid as in my view it is the BEST braid in the world being thinner and stronger than any other braid.
Awa-shima big game has a fair amount of stretch but also abrasion resistance is huge. The stretch has saved me many fish from the beach and really can stand its own with the best

I love my awa shima...wouldnt change now....after trying almost everything out there I am really enjoying this line.

Just a short testimony from my side on the C+ hypercast line....
During the recent SAFBAF Forces tournament held at Spitskopdam, I spooled all my spools with 0,18mm C+ hypercast line as main line. Part of our gameplan was to target both barbel and carp, because both were preferential in taking worms as bait. So I had traces targetting carp made up out of basically 0,18mm C+ hypercast hooklinks and #2 Daiichi hooks (with karibas) and then heavier 15lb hooklinks with #3 Daiichis (with springwurms) for barbel.
Incidentally, I caught my first 3 fish, all carps, on the heavier barbel-traces. Soon I was into a barbel that took the kariba worm on the lighter carp trace.......those ones with the 0,18mm C+ hypercast hooklink. After a tussle of a good 40minutes I managed to land this fish.
What makes this a little more interresting is that during the play of the fish, I noticed a windknot in my mainline when I picked up the tip of the rod at the end of the fight to see what distance the fish was away. I had not noticed this windknot during the cast earlier. I waded in and got the leader (and windknot) onto my reel and litterally had to pull/guide the fish into the shallows on the 0,18mm hooklink where it was scooped up. A fish that weighed in at 15,32kg. And which added a gold medal to my collection for the heaviest barbel of the tournament.
Truely a remarkable testimony to this line specifically.
PS the #2 Daiichi hooked the barbel in the lower lip just in front of its teeth.

I kept the rod tip real low, even submerging it in the water just to have the fish relaxed at the botom of the dam. Didnt want to excite it to much by pulling it up and away from the floor. Had a bit of a to and fro when it turned and I had to leap after it and not let him get the windknot of the spool. But it was the line that held....
