Hi, I borrowed a Pflueger Templar from Copper to use as swimbait reel in Kei, it's got 800m+ backing and 500m of 0.60 topshot so capacity isn't bad, but the drag is 0.
I opened it, very simple, it's got one leather washer in and it doesn't give me a kg of drag at the moment. Should I just put a thicker leather washer or what can I do to get the drag better, I want at leat 5kg of drag. The guys use to catch Tuna and Marlin with these reels so surely some how I should be able to generate enough drag.
