Ross MacLennan with a carp caught on fly. He won the trails with 8 species and filled up with 2 of each. This is very impressive as it is the best possible result for artlure on Albert.

first time I've heard of trolling for barbel.. what lures are used and what is the technique?

Well i used a lipless crank bait and a deep diving Salmo...... You troll and pray they take it, was lucky got barbel both days. .

I used this technique on various venues with lots of success, most success on  big firetiger rattle rap and shadraps.
