Hope you guys had a better outing than the Swerwers (don't think son) Saturday, day comp and Corrie got 8 fish 11kg and Martin 14 fish 22kg

Marius and the Pretoria guys fished Harties (de Rust) slow fishing but with quite a few 6-8kg fish being caught.

When I've got all the pics and detail I'll do a post on the Harties one. I got a few MMS pics and they are good fish (Had to take the kids to school sport this weekend so looks like I missed out big time).

Nope it was a terrible weekend. A view small fish came out but no silver carp. The only one I know of that came out was Sunday while we were packing up. The guy next to us got a view muddies and plenty silver catfish Saturday night. But over all a bad weekend fishing.

Now to plan the next trip.....

Enigma there is something worrying me about Arabie. Sunday when we came home at the dam wall there was a terrible stench of dead fish. Hope it’s not pollution...

That dam is overflowing like I have never seen. To give you a idea the Olifants is coming down so strong I thought back to the days when I fished the Vaalriver at barrage.
