:welcomesea:

what would you be targeting?

what tackle do you have? besides your light tackle mentioned on your profile?

west coast
langebaan is generally a good spot to start off and hone your skills.

other west coast spots include melkbos surrounds and ganzekraal

then there is plenty of spots in false bay.

you will need to know when and what the best conditions would be. and the preferred bait and traces. do a search and browse the various articles.

we will make a mission to broken roads strandfontein at 5am later. and then west coast on sunday/monday depending on conditions.

feel free to ask questions.

i take it you know melbos?

try melkbos slip (hour before low and two after) and bontkop push tide.

cob love a fresh fillet of sard on a floated trace.
wonderworm works well in cold clear water.
the southeast is perfect for the slip.

cob + hottie are abundant there.

sards, chokka, wonderworm, fresh white mussel, white stump fillet.
