I was doing my commercial dive coarse in Saldanha November last year, so was there for a month. Did quit a bit of diving in the area, the best being right against the briks of the Mikinos jetty on the lagoon side at high tide. I shot galjoen, big black-tail and hotties here. Was also in search of those elusive cob but found none. Its not often clean enough here but if the southeaster doesnt blow for a day or two, or a light northwest blows it cleans up pretty quick. The other spots I dived were at the moorings right infront of the dive school. Only had acess here because was doing the course there. I would scrape off the mussels on the mooring-lines and hulls of the yaughts. Had shoals of big stumps and black-tail chowing the mussels in no time, bagged a few that way. Also dived the break-waters, lots of hotties here and hundreds of pearlies but cant even look at them. Make sure you have your licence with you here as parkies will definatly check you, as the control tower watches you like a hawk. Dived other spots outside the bay such as Tebakbaai, Jacobsbaai and Tietiesbaai where I found lots of hotties and good crays. Hope this helps, goodluck
