Anyone fished Cape Vidal recently?

Has anyone R&S fished Cape Vidal recently? Want to make a quick dash down early August? What's the fishing like at the moment?

I know im not answering your question, but Im also thinking of Vidal over the long weekend in August, Vidal or Mapenlane?, not sure which would be better..will be interesting to hear the feedback

im guessing here, but ifthe sards do move up north(bladie late at it to) i think that the fishing would be great at vidals. should be plenty gm fish around. interesting 1 tho

I was there over the weekend but weather was terrible. I didn't get nearly enough off fishing done. The wind speeds where hectic, about 35km for Saturday and Sunday. 

I did stop over at St lucia on Saturday morning and heard that there was quiet a few garrick landed on Friday and Sunday afternoon when we were on our way back home, we stop at St Lucia again and Heard off garrick being landed that morning.
