Anyone ave any creative/tried and tested techniques for keeping live bait alive on a paddle ski?

I've seen a gadjet in a magazine but its very diy ! Get a 500mm piece of 110 mm pvc pipe,a 110mm vent cowl , a 110mm end cap (screw type ) a piece of s/steel square mesh.

Before you glue everything together cut your s/steel mesh to fit inside the female side of the vent cowl once that is done you can glue every thing together.
Once you've glued everything together , you can drill a couple of 15-20 mm holes in the screw cap of the end cap .
Once all that is done you can get a 1.5 - 2 m piece 5mm rope. Attach the rope to the pipe then with a caribiner you can hook the live bait holder to your ski while paddling. Hope this helps

Half a orange/onion bag or similar with a crude wire frame to keep it from collapsing ? Should not add too much drag as it should lift and follow in your wake ?

If you look on some previous posts, I showed how to drill plugs into your dry hatch. On the new Steath's, I keep about 20 mackeral's live a whole day!

Even after I beached here after 6 hours at sea, you can still see the bait swimming!

Thanks for all the suggestions . Ive kind of mixed the ideas together into two prototypes,will let you guys know hw they do

Onfortunately even the torpedo live well creates alot of drag. To set up a live well either in your dry hatch, or on top of the kayak is 1st prize. Stealth have developed a great system for their new 575, but i have also seen brilliant ones in the dry hatch.
