No Mozzies at Flamingo, at least not when I was there in June. Maybe different this time of year?
According to guys at Flamingo, the shad are always present, and in good numbers through the year. Even other species I'm sure will be present.
What you really want are the sardine baitballs, with all predators in feeding frenzy. This is when best catches are made. They mostly happen from June-September, although we were unlucky to have missed them. Still made good catches though!
I'm sure you'll have good time, as fish stocks are still healthy. Are you visiting Kunene mouth too?
Pls. post short report here, as I'd be interested to know what fishing is like there now.
