ANCHOR SET UP

I set my anchor rope as in scetch,I take a short thick rope,must be long enough to allow main line to say straight,this is atached to boat,the main line passes through a ring,this allows you to pull main line to within reach without having to climb to front of boat

Thank u for your info, was looking for a quick and easy anchor  set up for my boat. will definitelly try it, now to find out the best position to fit my rod holders.

You could also think in terms of something protruding over the bow deck with a roller in it. You can let the anchor out and when you retreive you pull the anchor into a holder that keeps it firm in position. You can tie it down on a cleat to keep it firm, or a pin you can hook through the anchor chain.
