Amatikulu does it again!

Well once again Amatikulu produced the goods. I fished this morning on the incoming tide, right at the mouth where the incoming current makes it almost unfishable.

I must admit i was targeting flatties but ended up with two nice kingies and this monster Perch.

Guess where ill be next weekend, lol.

thats a good perch fishless but were are the pics of the kingies? and may i ask what lure,equipment....???

I have been meaning to get all the info on the tackle and lures i used but by the time i get home its the last thing on my mind. But here a basic idea of what was used,

my baby daiwa 5'5 rod with shimano reel, 8lb braid, flourocarbon leader.

Then the lure i used is what has caught me many fish at Amatikulu, but nowhere else for some reason. I dont know what it is called, but its by Sensation and its a bass lure, here is a picture of one thats very similar in look and colour, except the tail is different.

Oh and i didnt take any pics of the kingies cause they werent that exciting, and i only had my phone on me to take the pic of the Perch so quality is bad.
