me and my wife were looking for a weekend getaway and of course i was looking for a place where i could fish also.....so i found AMANZI MANINGI 31km outside Barberton.
is has selfcatering accomodation and B+B, very friendly hosts and a resident Ostrich roaming the yard oh and two huge greatdanes that look after you....then most importantly it has 3 farm dams sittuated about 500m from the accomodation, here i had great fun catching 3 species of Kurper/Tilapia on spinners and Sada curly tails... saw some big Barber turning but could not get them to take the hook. the Kurper were smallish about 500g but saw some of about 2kg roaming about....
