Hope everyone is well.
I have an old aluminum boat that was left up at my place in Mozambique for some time. Upon my return my boat had been stripped of its motor and was being used by some of the locals as a sailing boat 😂 they had punched a hole in the front seat for the sail and ripped out the bench seats that provided the boat with its rigidity, and because there is now excess flex in the hull when it is in the water a few of the rivers have loosened and now leak.
A friend of mine managed to weld in a plate over the hole in the hull caused by the sail, but I have yet to find someone who will be able to help with making a new set of bench seats or some sort of reinforcement that will help the boat hold its shape when in the water.
Is there anyone that you guys would recommend that may be able to assist with refurbishing the boat and getting it on the water again.
