Hi Gents/Dames.

Got some Tips for us of where to start.

Looking for the Key pattern or go to pattern.

Where to start on the lake.

What is the best method.

Fishton/Revo Uncle "Dinger" you guys look like AF regulars and by some of the fish I have seen you seem to be the local experts.........:wfish

At this time of year, fish the public banks with Carolina rigs (brush hogs and dead ringers)and cranks DLN lavender shad or DT 10 Bluegill.
The banks in fron of Bon Accord will also have fish in them. If you battle there, go into Pelican bay and fish the fence line, as well as the shallows. You should get some action doing that. Hang on at the public banks as it is a really well known big fish spawning spot!

You won't go wrong throwing creature baits in the trees either! River section hasn't been producing too many fish!

Bill Norman lavender shad (any size) against the banks between notuli campsite and the day visitor's area.

One thing i've learned about AF is to find the comorants and darters, they feed on baitfish and thats where the bass will be. My 2c !

Are you coming to my stomping ground?

If so I can put you in touch with my neighbour, he fishes bass for KZN and knows all the spots at Albert Falls.

Thanks bud - I am comming down in April for trials and nationals but got mates comming down towards the end of the month....

Well, give me a shout if you guys need anything. If I tell the neighbour you are fishing nationals and want to know where to fish, it could set the cat well amoung the pidgeons. Better I just shut up!
