here is my first lure that i painted with an airbrush. I had a few moments where i thought i messed up completely but it came out okay in the end. I had a lot of "trouble" with the airbrush and the split body construction but i think i did okay for a first attempt at both.

specs: green mackerel
40g
12.5cm

Thats a mighty fine looking lure you have there. Thanks for posting a pic of the way you do your ballasts with the wire through them! I've been drilling holes and filling with lead plugs but its a pain to seal up the holes afterwards. Your way could be the answer for me! Cheers and keep up the good work

i cast the lead into the body, It can also be a pain to get the excess lead off, and i also had to fill up. since the two pieces of wood dint line up perfectly
