Kamassi Craft 620 (Butt Cat) or Tomcat 19ft

Hi, i need some advice on the two boats above. Heard from different people negative and positive things about both.

Will apreciate any advice from anyone who know or have been on these two boats.

Great choice to have - I would be happy to park either in my garage.
To make a choice you need to give more info;
What do you want to do with it (type of fishing, skiing, spearing etc), where will you be fishing, who with, will you tow, do you have engines or will you buy...

Fishing in Stillbay, mostly cob and hake and all sorts bankvis. We are usualy about 4 crew members, do not beach launch. We've got a slipway. I've got 2 85hp yammies wich are on my 19ft Cape Craft.

We use rods with K.P's.

Looking for something that can give me a softer and dry ride.

Kamassi.
Don't get me wrong, the Tomcat is an awesome boat, very well built and a superb ride. I just think it will be overkill and the gunnels will be a bit high for what you want. It will be slightly heavier also meaning more fuel.
If you had kids on board, were running far, surf launching, trolling for big fish etc then the roles would be reversed.
Again though, both are great craft.

I agree a lot with what Fin-S had to say .

Currently owning a tomcat and going in on friday to finalise my order on my new tomcat I am a true fan of that boat .
That said and having fished on a Butt cat I do feel that the Butt would be more suited to your fishing needs .
I dont like to fish for bottoms with any more than three on the forward console tomcat and find the Tomcat more suited to game fishing .

Good luck on your choice . Both great boats and you wont make a 'mistake' either way .
