Advice on boat steering

Add stainless skeg protection with a deeper/longer skeg, it so sort my problem. My power was the problem/prop on the v6 changed from 21p to 19 4 blade, to much torque and could not turn. After, it seemed like I had power steering.

Just a report back.Its taken me this long to sort the problem out completely. As it turns out it should have been one of the 1st things that i should have checked in the 1st place. And turns out the boat was sold for this problem as the guy that i got it from also couldn't come right.I have dropped motors to different heights,i have fitted planing skegs,also got guys in to check the hull for warping etc. after everything she would still role at high speed.
I found the answer when i replaced one of the motors accelerator cables because it was a bit sticky.
Turns out the answer was simple. At full throttle one motor was running at full throttle and the other was running at less than half throttle.Because motors don't have rev counters u cant hear that they arnt both running at full throttle. Individually run they still both put the boat on the plane no problem so unless u had a rev counter ud never know. So thanks to a sticky accelerator cable i found out that the control box wasn't assembled correctly and because of a missing sirclip i wasnt getting full throttle. Now the boat handles like a dream. Just shows that the simplest things should be checked 1st.

Thanks for the feedback. It's really important to have a way of keeping and eye on revs with a twin motor installation.

probably the most important item/items are rev counters.
