I cut the rear box in half and widened it to fit the 2 x 25L fuel tanks

Skipped a few steps but here the box is glassed to the floor and already sprayed with 2k. The inside i painted with topcoat

Floor and sides finished with grey topcoat over the filter sand strips i previously made. Fitted the steering also. Beginning to look like a boat now. Very happy with the outcome so far. On the pictures it looks as if everything is far forward but its nicely balanced in middle and stil plenty space in front. I still need to make a bench in the bow

Looking good Foxstrike.Yes it doesnt look like it but rebuilding a boat is expensive and a lot of hard work.Atleast if you do the work yourself you know what is going on below deck not some shortcut jobs.Keep it up brother.

Built the bench in the bow section. Must add a hatch to it later

Next winter i will be replacing the gunwale with a nice moulded one with original acecraft specs and heights
