Came from nightshift and decided today is the day.Early morning sweat to get the 115 off and then started cutting out the floor. I will be replacing the transom, fix and put in stringers, replacing the Sondor and Pu foam with the proper bottles and put on a new deck.

The deck and foam was done by a reputable company in Kzn...they used normal ply and nothing was sealed off..theres also huge voids where theres no foam...the previous owner paid 13.5k for a job like that.....:?

Theres 2 vertical 10mm fibreglass stringers if thats what their called...i will be adding horizontal 18mm marine ply and seal it off with fibreglass....
Should i put a new layer of fibreglass on the hull just to make sure everything is sealed off and solid? Any advice welcome

Trying to source someone with a gunnel mold. I saw BFC has one so if anyone can put me in contact with him it would be greatly appreciated

Hardest part so far has been hacking out the old transom....there was water seeping out of the wood when i push the shizel in the wood.Eventually got everything out so now its just sanding down the old fibreglass that were holding it in place

First thing i would is a test to see what comes out, we used Pekay and it got so hard it had to be grinded to get the excess off the transom core.
