Ace Glider 530

Hi All

I am seriously looking at buying one of these and have read all the reviews and been on one on the water, but 1 hour reading and 5 hours on the water still does not make up completely for long term ownership.

Any feedback from current and previous Ace Glider owners out there? How does she handle a following sea?

Regards

Redhawk,
I have been to their factory here in Durbs and I can honestly say the company has come a long long way. They build them decent, they are solid good looking and very practical and finished off nicely. I was always concerned about that nose punching a wave but that fear is slowly dissipating. I can honestly say they are built very well.

That was a while ago, not sure if they added a hatch in front big enough for an anchor rope and chain. That was the one down fall I saw. With the original one you had to store the anchor in a hatch, a shlep especially if the shain starts getting rusty.

But very nice ships.
